This is my first matching pair snuff bottles..
After some discussion on forum as to being Mongolian, or Tibetan, one of the members ( Tom ) commented that may be from Inner Mongolia (the province inside the PRC) rather than Outer Mongolia and not Tibetan.
Silver with coral cabochons mixed in floral designs. Have not yet determined the silver carat purity, but heavy at 3 ounces each.
The repeating "Fu" ( 福 ) charactors on the sides of both bottles, translate to "blessing".
3" tall....
